What does website maintenance include?
Updates to WordPress, plugins and themes, regular backups, security and availability monitoring, and checks that key parts of the site still work. The exact scope depends on the plan you choose.
How often do you update WordPress?
Security releases are applied as soon as they come out. Regular plugin and theme updates run on a schedule agreed with you, so they never land at a moment that would hurt your business.
What if an update breaks the site?
We take a backup before every update and check the site afterwards. If something breaks, we roll back to the previous state and resolve the cause before trying again.
Do you also maintain WooCommerce?
Yes. On top of standard maintenance we check the cart and checkout, payment gateways and shipping, because an outage in a store means lost orders.
Can you take over a website built by another agency?
Yes. We start by reviewing the current state — WordPress, plugins, hosting, backups and security — and tell you what needs fixing before we take the site into regular care.
Does the site have to be hosted with you?
No. We maintain websites on your existing hosting. If the hosting turns out to be the bottleneck, we will say so and suggest options.
What if I need a bigger change or a new feature?
Maintenance covers keeping the site running. Larger changes and new features are handled as separate development work — we will scope it and agree on it before starting.
How quickly do you respond to a problem?
Monitoring alerts us to outages automatically. Response times differ by plan and we agree on them before the maintenance starts.
Can you maintain several websites?
